THANK YOU…

To the ICare 24 Group

We are nearing the holiday season now. The phones are still ringing, the targets are being met and I’m sure the spreadsheets are getting updated as I type this. We are hurtling towards a new year and as we know, the work doesn’t stop .

But as the gears keep turning, through all the hard work and late nights, we wanted to take a moment to thank you. To thank each and everyone of you from the deepest corners of our hearts. And why?

Because you all have been amazing.

We wanted to let you know how deeply grateful we are for your generous donations towards The Kvell Project and to highlight the lasting impact you have all made, not only to this cause but to us as well . Your efforts in organising and fundraising for The Kvell Project, our small, little-known organisation, has been nothing short of inspiring.

When we make a visit to your offices, what is abundantly clear to us is the optimism and infectious energy you all exude. It is present in the charity events you have held and the money you have raised. You have taken the time out of your working days to listen to the Children’s stories and to champion this project, to make it your own. All of which has been done and we have seen, with happiness, compassion and smiles all around.

You all have set the tone, and have led by example.

We are humbly encouraged by your altruism, your faith in partnering with us and your belief in these kids as we journey together in impacting their lives on the Thai/Burma border. We recognise that this is not the first, but the second year you have supported us, and what you have achieved is nothing less than monumental. We will forever be grateful.

Your collective efforts have produced results. You have managed to take 24 children and 5 children’s home staff on a 5 day camp for 2 years in row, traveling a total of 2120+ kilometres and providing approximately 697+ meals. Alongside this, over these 2 trips you have given the children the opportunity to experience the wider world with 16+ life-affirming activities which include trips to National Parks, Elephant Sanctuaries and Museums, to life’s simple pleasures like a day on the beach. An escape from their place in the world as displaced people, truly a time to let the kids be kids.

It is such an amazing feat and has significantly empowered the children, embedding in them such unforgettable experiences.

We wanted to share with you a few pictures of the trip so you could get a glimpse of the smiles and laughs you have created.

These children have been directly affected by the longest running civil war to date. Thank you again for making them feel valued, loved and cared for. This could not have been done without you.

With thanks

Vy-liam Ng & The Whole Kvell Project Team
